Journeyperson Electrician and Apprentices
BUCH ELECTRIC is a full service electrical contractor located in Brant-Haldimand Norfolk, serving the commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential industry since 1973. We are currently seeking experienced, hard-working and responsible licensed 309A journeyperson electricians and apprentices to join our growing team. Applicants selected for employment must possess the following mandatory, valid training certificates:
- Working at Heights (from a Ministry of Labour approved Training Provider)
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness
- WHMIS
- Must be a member in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario
- Valid G drivers license
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions, including working with low voltage systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete renovation projects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
General Labourer
BUCH ELECTRIC is a full service electrical contractor located in Brant-Haldimand Norfolk, serving the commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential industry since 1973. We are looking to hire a full-time general labourer with an interest in electrical and construction work. This would be a full time position with some overtime hours.
Applicants selected for employment must possess the following mandatory, valid training certificates:
- Must have a G License
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must have own method of transportation to and from job sites
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Responsibilities:
- Working under the supervision of the Foreman and site supervisor.
- Able to frequently use a variety of tools such as shovels and basic hand tools
- Cleaning the site/shop from debris
- Load and unload materials and move materials towards working areas
- Perform daily site maintenance tasks to ensure to site is clean
- Must have a G License
- Other duties as required
